Contrary to popular belief though, it doesn’t need to be a big factory. We are socialized to the idea of large corporations with multi-million dollar facilities and complex domestic and international networks to distribute a small selection of beers. Bintang, we are looking at you!
Their beers are designed to be the least offensive product possible. They are engineered to suit the industry, rather than crafted to suit the consumer.
We feel that’s a pretty low bar and know we can do better.

Brewpub
A brewpub is a very different place from a bar. It is an inclusive meeting point where the focus is on a relaxed and warm location for socialisation rather than alcohol consumption.
By brewing locally, drinks are served fresh, and a wider range of options can be produced as we don’t have to pay for extensive marketing, logistics and packaging overheads. We get to focus on brewing what you actually like, and when new trends or preferences arise, we can adapt quickly.
Don’t like Beer? We will offer interesting cocktails, fermented beverages and Moke.
Don’t feel like drinking? We will have plenty of non-alc refreshing beverages.
Hungry? Drinks and good times can’t happen on an empty belly.

We will be opening in the exciting new Mawatu development. While staying true to the natural beauty of the location, Mawatu will create a new tourist town center designed from the ground up.
Bale Nagi Brewing will become an essential part of a fully integrated ecosystem of businesses in Mawatu and Labuan Bajo, to provide world-class hospitality to match the high standard of the Komodo National Park.
